Interest Badges

There have been a lot of changes in the Guide programme in the last couple of years and one of the biggest is in the Interest Badge programme.

Gone are the old navy-blue circular badges, to be replaced by brightly coloured badges in a variety of shapes and for interests as varied as Party Planner and Film Lover, Interpreter and Confectioner, as well as old favourites like Camper, Crafts, Hobbies and First Aid.

Guides can work for badges on their own, in patrols or other groups of friends, or even the whole unit can work on a badge together.

We haven't done any of the new badges yet, so this term we are going to work for the Agility badge as a Unit as well as individual badges.
